About the presenter: Lonnetta Albright is Executive Director of the Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center (Great Lakes ATTC) at the University of Illinois /Jane Addams College of Social Work. Her regional ATTC leads the ATTC network’s Recovery Management and Recovery-Oriented System Transformation efforts for the field. She led the 2008-2009 NIATx-ATTC pilot with the Detroit Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC) provider network as well as other county and state ROSC transformation efforts across her ATTC’s 6-state region. She led her ATTC’s ROSC efforts in Africa under a PEPFAR sub-grant to train and build capacity within the substance abuse systems and recovery community in Tanzania and Zanzibar, Africa. During her 14 year tenure with the ATTC she chaired the National ATTC Criminal Justice committee; was a member of the National ATTC Research to Practice committee that created the ATTC Change Book, chaired the NIDA/SAMHSA-ATTC Blending Team to disseminate research results from the Motivational Incentives for Enhanced Drug Abuse Recovery, a NIDA-CTN study and is past co-chair of the ATTC Recovery Committee.

She is a member of, SAMHSA’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) Steering Committee, National TASC, Illinois Drug Policy Coalition, Governor State University’s Addiction Studies Council, NAACP, National Council of Negro Women and National Association of Professional Women. With a Bachelor’s degree in Education, graduate studies in Public Administration, she is also certified by the American Management Association, a Certified Personal and Executive Coach (CPEC) and holds a Certificate of Law for Community Developers from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
